Fashion News-The Fashion Show Season 1

The Fashion Show premieres on Bravo on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Fifteen professional designers will compete in this fashion creative competition series for a chance to have their designs sold in the retail market and win a $125,000 prize.
Internationally acclaimed designer Isaac Mizrahi shares hosting duties with four-time Grammy Award-winning performer and actress Kelly Rowland. Mizrahi and Rowland will also serve as judges alongside fashion luminary and Senior Vice President of IMG Fashion, Fern Mallis.

Rih Rih is back ....Take that ...take that! I love Rihanna. Her style is never simple but it is always on point. You definitely have to respect her stylistic approach in this Dolce and Gabban cropped pant suit. Rihanna made her return to the red carpet a few days ago at the Costume Institute Gala at NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art. WAIVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

So some of you know I am looking for a new hair style and am thinking about going for something drastic. Im thinking long (pocohantas length) and bangs or maybe a middle part. Ms. Solange debuted a new do about a week ago on twitter which was absolutely stunning. I will keep you posted on my decision but in the meantime Ms. Knowles is working this hair.

Music News-Chrisette Michele

So most of you know I love Ms. CM and her CD dropped yesterday 5/5/09. I not only bought the cd but had previously downloaded it from Amazon.com. Ms. CM is a fierce lady. I love the CD. I give it a two thumbs up! It is filled with slow and medim tempo ballads but nothing outweights Track 1. The uberly fab EPIPHANY. I'm also swaying my hips to Mr. Right.....You need to go get this CD. I would advise you to buy two....One for work (or home) and one for the car. WELL I THINK IM JUST ABOUT OVER BEING YOUR GIRLFRIEND...O-VA (Pointing index finger).

Marvelous Misses-Chrisette Michele

It has been two years since sultry voiced singer Chrisette Michele released her stunning gold–certified debut I Am. Blessed with a gorgeous instrument and described as a “soulful songbird” by Entertainment Weekly, the Long Island native proved to the world that she could live up to the hype. Nominated for a BET Award for Best New Artist as well as two Grammy’s, I Am was both a critical success and a fans delight.

Now...after all is said and done EVERYONE KNOWS....I am a huge CM fan! She is sooo dope! She has one of the most souful voices I have ever heard ...I mean girl can SANGGGGGGGG! She is talented and I am not speaking in terms of here and now! I have her first CD and she has done nothing but grown. She is nothing short of the best thing out! I along with some of my closest friends are taking a trip to see Ms. CM in Atlantic City's HOB's in June. Check out her site for more upcoming news.
